Yoga Therapy

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy empowers and supports individuals to manage their health using the principles of Yoga and applying a range of Yoga practices developed with a professional therapeutic relationship. In Yoga Therapy, an experienced Yoga teacher or qualified Yoga Therapist assists a person to overcome the discomforts or imbalances resulting from specific conditions, or generally improve physical, mental and spiritual health on a 'one on one' basis, using tools and providing advice based on yogic principles.Yoga therapy assisting

It is about assisting the individual, rather than focusing on the condition and the tools used may include asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work), relaxation, meditation, dietary advice, lifestyle counselling and self-development.

Our directors Leigh and Heather are both qualified Yoga Therapists with many years of experience in helping people improve their physical and emotional well-being

In Yoga Therapy sessions, we are able to give you 100% of our attention and provide a safe space for you to open and explore a variety of issues associated with your well-being and happiness.

If you would like an appointment or further information, simply email us on the addreess above or call on 03 5968 1811.
