Ayurveda is the traditional healing and wellbeing system of India and is often regarded as the sister science of Yoga. Closely aligned to Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda seeks to help you regain your natural balance, physically and mentally. Like Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda is not so concerned with the condition the person has, but about the person who is having the condition. In other words, we treat (re-establish balance in) the individual, not a set of symptoms called a condition.
Ayurvedic consultations and treatments are usually gentle and aim to re-establish balance through 'evolution', not 'revolution'. Treatments can typically include dietary and other lifestyle advice, massage and use of therapeutic oils, meditation and collaborative Yoga Therapy.
